Cartwright Hotel - Aynho

This place is nice, and has great wi-fi, a cozy bar area, tasty restaurant meals, and a tv. The staff once helped me find shops nearby, which I appreciated. I'm coming back for Christmas!

Marvellous location in 5 mins walk from the city centre. Found in a lovely part of the town.

Spent 1 night here with my partner, had a lovely stay overall. The staff was helpful, created an individual atmosphere. The hotel was lovely little and pleasant and in a central location very close to the restaurant on one...  

The charming character of the Cartwright with its cozy ambience made our stay memorable, enhanced by the exceptional dinner service and delicious local cuisine.

Heating issues in the standard double room made it frigid upon arrival and took hours to warm up, impacting comfort significantly. I found the dining room a bit sterile. The absence of background music during dinner left the atmosphere lacking warmth, forcing conversations into hushed tones. The car park situation was frustrating, as it was full upon arrival, leading to a less-than-ideal parking situation down the street. Lastly, some elements of the room felt dated, particularly the bathroom, and noise from outside during early mornings interrupted sleep.

The stay was quite enjoyable, with a highlight being the lovely staff who went out of their way to help us. The breakfast was abundant and tasty, giving us a great start each morning. The room was spacious and comfortable, aside from a few maintenance needs that could be addressed. it was a pleasant stay soaking in the local atmosphere and exploring nearby attractions.

The chef went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs, preparing a delightful meal not on the menu. My room was spacious, making it a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The spacious room was a delight, and we loved the freshly prepared breakfast, especially the vegan options. The staff were attentive.

We had a fantastic welcome and the hospitality was out of this world! Our room was super comfy and had a nice sofa & armchair n it was a good size too. Dinner was tasty an reasonably priced, and breakfast had like an amazin...  

This hotel set in a lovely village offers a warm welcome and really good service from Caroline and her team. While the initial room was disappointing and noisy, the dining experience was good with excellent food. A pleasant stay with helpful staff made it enjoyable.
